Endowment Fund
At St. Mark Catholic Classical School there are two endowment funds in place to aid unforeseen education and infrastructure needs.
The School Endowment Fund, which was formed in 1989, by a large donation from the estate of Fr. Theodore Sullivan, holds money in trust for future generations of St. Mark students. The goal is to grow the principal of the fund, using the earned interest to supplement tuition for needs-based families, ensuring that all children have access to Catholic education at their parish school.
As of June 2019, the Endowment Fund balance is $633,049 with the Corpus of $461,685, all due to the generosity of school families, parishioners, alumni, and the community. A balance of $1 million would ensure the long-term financial health of the school.
Your gift to the St. Mark Catholic Classical School Endowment Fund creates a lasting legacy and can be made in memory of a loved one, to honor a former teacher, or to celebrate a significant anniversary. Gifts are acknowledged through a card and honorees are listed in the parish bulletin monthly.

The Neumann Endowment Fund, established in 2006, by the friends and family of Terry Neumann, was created to honor his passion for St. Mark Catholic Classical School.
Terry supported a cause that was important to him, the quality education and sense of community he found at St. Mark School. During his years as a St. Mark School parent, he was an active volunteer, providing generous gifts of his time, talent, and treasure.
His friends and family created this endowment fund to keep that generous spirit of giving alive. Special thanks go out to Terry’s co-workers at The Boeing Company, who have supported this endowment fund with their donations and company matching gifts. The St. Mark Neumann Endowment Fund balance is currently $132,000. Distributions from the fund are used to provide whole or partial need-based scholarships for St. Mark Catholic Classical School students.
Contributions are tax-deductible and can be mailed to the school office.
